Susan K. Rider is an accomplished strategic global Human Resource visionary with strong business acumen and expertise in all disciplines in Human Resources.  Susan (Sue) grew up in Ohio as a determined and competitive young girl.  While in High School, she applied for scholarships and received an award from the National Secretaries Association.  While giving her acceptance speech, she claimed that she wanted to work for a global company, such as Champion Spark Plug Company.  That was her start of yearning to be in business.  She had to make a decision on her first real job when two job offers were given to her on the same day.  She had a choice between Advertising or Human Resources.  She chose Human Resources because she knew that was the best opportunity to understand business.  Advertising would allow her to be creative and innovative, but she believed that she could be that as well in Human Resources.  She chose her first job with Champion Spark Company as Personnel Clerk.

Her career exploded.  She has held HR leadership roles with global organizations  such as World Fuel Services (now World Kinect), Sykes Enterprises, Tree of Life, Breed Technologies and Cooper Industries (Champion Spark Plug, Wagner Brake, Moog Automotive).  As a Generalist, she held leadership roles in HR Operations, Benefits and Compensation Design and Administration, HRIS system development and change management, Payroll management, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Union Relationships,  to name a few.  Her last corporate position was VP, Strategic Initiatives and M&A for World Kinect organization.  She has experience running her own HR consulting firm, Human Capital Intelligence and has re-invented her HR consulting practice through HRider Solutions, providing HR solutions that IMPACT business.

Sue holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business.  She is an accomplished public speaker and hosted her own radio talk show about Human Resources.  Her work in M&A has been impressive, leading the HR function for over 60 transactions in her career.  She is a certified M&A Specialist and held a Board position with the National M&A Council.  Her creation of an HR M&A Playbook resulted in her authoring “Human Resources' IMPACT on Mergers and Acquisitions.”

Although her heart is in Ohio, she resides in beautiful Jensen Beach Florida where she enjoys the tropical weather.  She is married to her husband, Allen, and has two sons and three grandsons, two of them twins.  She has a special love for Siberian Huskies and is mama to her current twelve year old, Kayla.

She is a well-respected HR professional, experienced in all Human Resource disciplines, dynamic entrepreneur and visionary and strategist.
